About the Lucky Ducks Farm

Family Owned Farm

Harvey & Laurie Tashiro own and operate the Lucky Ducks Farm in East Orchard Mesa near Palisade, Colorado. 2,600 peach trees produce the best organic peaches. The East Orchard Mesa farmland area is known for producing Colorado's finest peaches. 

Organic Orchards

We are Certified Organic. Our peaches are grown organically without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. We believe that we are more friendly to the environment and produce better and healthier food. At harvest time, we wait until the peaches are tree ripe before picking to insure maximum natural sweetness.

Masters At Growing And Processing

Harvey & Laurie are both Master Gardeners and use all organically approved growing methods. Harvey is also a Master Food Preserver and has developed truly delicious peach products from the Organic peaches grown on the farm. 

Other Residents On The Farm

There are 5 llamas that are pets. They are gentle and friendly animals that are fun to have around. They also supply us with a very low salt fertilizer. Aracauna chickens also supply with us fresh eggs every day. These special chickens are called "Martha Stewart" chickens, as they lay colored eggs.
